The Lore

The Lore.

The saga began with cousins Josh and Bernie, whose lives were forever changed when they discovered the keepsakes in their great great grandfather Kim’s life chest, the Traveler. They soon learned that the tradition went all the way back to the explorer Marco Polo and his Dynasty chest in the 1200s.

Josh’s granddaughter Zen uncovered a deeper secret. The Greek god Poseidon crafted the very first chest, the Atlantis, when he created the island utopia of Atlantis in ancient Greece. Poseidon granted the power of visions and time travel to the citizens of Atlantis and called them the Order of the Indigo Magic. All those possessing the magic would be required to follow the six laws of the Order and work to benefit humankind.

However, not every Atlantean was dedicated to upholding the Order. The evil and jealous Calista gathered discontented followers. They corrupted their Indigo Magic powers to create the black sorcery of a sinister new collective, the Crimson Dark. The Crimson Dark was defeated after the tragic destruction of Atlantis, but a remnant persisted, determined to rise again across the eras.

In the midst of the ongoing battle between good and evil, characters from all points in time glean wisdom and inspiration from their life chests.
